LIP QUICK TIPS

RING STAINS
Don't you hate it when you wear a ring and it leaves a green or orange stain around your finger? Just take clear nail polish or a colorless top coat and coat a thin layer on the inside of it. When it's dry you shouldn't have any more problems. It's also neat if you put a scented top coat on...You'll smell ultra cool!

STRONGER RICHER NAILS
Instead of slapping on dark thick nail polish, give your nails a break and give the polish a miss. Instead, soak your nails in a 2:1 part milk and cream mixture to build strength and then after half an hour they'll be stronger. Skip the polish that day, and if you must wear polish every day, try a lighter colour or even clear. Natural is beautiful.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR LIPSTICK STICK!
To make the most out of your lips stick, apply your lip stick, then hold an ice cube on over it for 20 seconds. Your lipstick will stay on longer.

PERFECT LIP LINE
To get a perfect lip line, get a glass of cold water, and put your pencil in it for about five minutes (with the cap on), then apply as usual. Your pencil will be firmer and hence produce better results.

KEEP THE LIPSTICK GOING
Apply lip color, blot, dust with powder, then apply another layer of lip color to make it last.

LONGER LASTING LIPSTICK
To help lip stick stay longer, powder lips between lipstick coats.

SOFTER LIPS
Always use moisturizer lotion on lips during winter months to insure soft lips.

REMOVING FLAKES
To help remove flakes from dry lips, use a soft toothbrush, and gently brush across your lips.

LIPSTICK VARIATION
To make one lipstick color appear to be a variation of colors, apply different amounts of toner, till desired colr is achieved.

THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF LIPSTICK
To check if you have on the right amount of lipstick, put your fore finger in your mouth after applying your lipstick, and pull it out gradually. Any lipstick that comes off, on your finger, is excess!

MOISTURIZE YOUR LIPS
To stop lips from chapping due to dry lip sticks, use a very slight base of vaseline before applying the lipstick.

AVOIDING CHAPPED LIPS
Keep lips soft by not licking them, drinking plenty of water to prevent dehydration, and applying a coating of lip balm before bed to help to moisturize lips while you sleep. When participating in outdoor activity, use a lip balm that contains a SPF of at least 15 to prevent sunburn. Add base coat of lip balm prior to applying lipstick during the dry winter months. If lips become chapped, avoid wearing lipsticks while lips are recovering as drying products in color pigments may irritate chapped lips.
